Basically you get every major solo instrument in the orchestra and then ensemble patches with 3 or 4 instruments in the ensemble, except I believe Violins have 14. The Strings, Brass and Woodwinds are all accounted for in the new samples. And no I'm not going to say anything about choirs! The main things from Miro 1 are full orchestral and combined section patches, percussion, organ, guitar, harp and choirs. As best I can tell 8 gigs are from Miro 2 and 2 gigs are from Miro 1. The Miro Lite collection for 42 bucks is actually quite a nice value. Note I just found this which helps you figure out how to setup modwheel and velocity sensitivity which definitely adds value to this package. Summery: Good value for money, inconsistent in sound and the way the articulations are setup. I'm at best a low level amateur / student of this stuff learning from the masters here at VI, but here's my opinion as copied from the cakewalk forums. Try using GROUP for your discount and see if you save a few more bucks.
